This year has once again highlighted the remarkable impact our community has in enabling advancements for our local hospital. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 47 important initiatives have been enabled, each one helping improve patient care, comfort, and the overall hospital experience. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference for everyone, from newborns to older adults.

Community generosity has helped transform hospital spaces into environments that promote healing and calm. The peaceful Healing Garden now offers families a quiet place to pause and find comfort during stressful moments. Meanwhile, the new children’s therapy gym and outdoor playground bring joy and motivation to young patients undergoing physiotherapy after injury or serious illness.

Donor support has also funded innovative clinical equipment, giving healthcare teams the tools they need to provide exceptional care. Upgraded transport ventilators now support paediatric transfers between hospitals, while the small but effective 'Buzzy Bee' device is easing needle anxiety for young patients in the Emergency Department. Each item, big or small, helps the thousands of people who walk through the door of our local hospital each day.

Beyond equipment, your donations support advanced training for doctors, nurses and allied health staff, helping them continually refine their skills and stay up to date with best practices. And during challenging moments, thoughtful items such as sleep packs, toiletries, clothing, and other essentials remind patients that they are supported and cared for.

None of this would be possible without our generous community of donors, individuals, families, businesses, and local groups whose generosity drives meaningful change.
