The sun was shining on Waitematā Golf Course as players enjoyed a day of golf, camaraderie and good humour, all in support of Well Foundation, the official charity for North Shore Hospital. Hosted by North Shore Rotary Club for 24 years, the tournament was another resounding success, with 25 teams taking to the greens and experiencing the best of Rotary hospitality. Money raised will contribute to funding an ultrasound training machine (Ultrasound Mentor), to support ongoing education for senior and junior doctors and midwives at North Shore Hospital. This training tool will ultimately benefit every woman of childbearing age in our region, approximately 150,000, ensuring they can access the best care when they need it most. A special thank you goes to North Shore Taxis, returning once again as principal sponsor. Gratitude also goes to the generous North Shore businesses that provided sponsorship and to North Shore Rotary for organising yet another fantastic event.
